Help can’t get any Sleep
I had my baby a few days ago. I had trouble sleeping at the hospital. I got maybe 5 hours of sleep in 3 days, if even that. Today we are home and the baby won’t let me put him down. I’m breastfeeding and he is wanting to stay on me. I’ve tried swaddling, and a pacifier, as soon as I place him in his bassinet, within 2 minutes he wakes up and cries. I tried this consistently. I have no help. His diaper is clean. He seems to be constantly nursing, but Is he not getting anything out of my breast?? I tried pumping but only got about a table spoon worth of breastmilk.
I don’t know what to do?
**Thank you! He just had two dirty diapers and one was wet, and it was quite a bit. I think his belly might be bothering him as he is getting used to his poos transitioning from Meconium to runnier breastmilk poo. This is my second and I forgot how much sleep is lost within the first few weeks. I had a low supply with my first and I’m just scared and scared my body is failing my babies. Or that I won’t be even able to just partially breastfeed this time.
