My son is 2 years old and currently at a daycare where he absolutely love. He has so many close friends and everyday that he gets dropped off the kids run up to him to hug him and help put his coat away. Then they run off and play together. They’re so cute! Most of them started out in infant class together and move up classes together .the teachers there told my husband that my son is most popular kid there. All his friends love him. They also said he’s the sweetest, but we are paying a lot. My 5 month old will be going to that daycare starting in Jan . The total for both is $2900 a month. We are talking about possibly sending him to a preschool once he turn 3 to save some money. There’s a preschool that my friend’s kid go to that is only $3500 a year. However, my heart breaks just thinking about pulling him out of there since he’s got all his friends there. I know that kids make new friends easily but it still makes me sad. I don’t know what to do. We could keep him there since they have preschool but it’s just so much more expensive 😫. Also, I took him to my friends 3 year old daughters bday party and there were some mean 3 year old boys there. One tried to scratch my sons face. So this also add to my anxiety. Are there 3 year olds that are bullies? I keep reading posts about kids getting bullied even as young as 3 year olds.
