Did the one hour glucose test, OB office calls next day to say I failed it. They state “the cut off is 140 and your sugar was 140.” They’d like me to do the 3 hour…

Guys, I do not have the time to sit in a doctors office for three dang hours.

I was stupid and ate a bagel like 15min before taking my glucose drink. That likely broke down into sugars in my blood right along with that glucose drink for when they drew lab.

About 10 years ago… three other pregnancies ago, I did fail a one hour glucose test, but my sugar was about 45 over the limit. Three hour test was done, passed amazingly, no concerns. And then the other pregnancies I passed the one hour.

I’m just feeling like it’s a waste of time when it’s literally RIGHT at the limit, I’ve passed my other tests, never had glucose in my urine, no fam history of diabetes.

Opinions? I said I would discuss with my OB next office visit, which is in two weeks.

Think they’d let me do the one hour again?
