Herpes in the eye??

I have hsv 1 & 2 but I’ve never had a cold sore. Only hsv 2 outbreaks and I’m super careful with those. Always use a glove when treating & washing my hands after. Could this be herpes in the eye? The corner of my eye becomes swollen and painful. It’s happened about 3 times now. Has anyone seen or gone through this? Is it eye herpes

You really should go see a dr about that. Eyes are sensitive and you don't want to risk them.

It doesn't look like what common herpes in the eyes look like, but sure have it looked at if its painful.

I know someone with eye herpes. They get drops from the doctor.
