Is second labor really painful?

This is my second baby boy and he is due feb 2nd. I had my first son Mar 18th 2020 and it was painful but not too bad. I’m kinda scared because I heard second labor will really hurt the f*** out of you 😭 and I’ve already been in a lot of pain and have been experiencing things I didn’t in my first pregnancy. So is this true? (Ik everyone pregnancy is different, I’ve just seen a lot of women say they were in so much pain during their second labor)

This is my 3rd pregnancy and for me personally it goes faster and easier each time. First baby I was in labor for a day and a half, second baby was only 8 hours. The contractions with the first were way worse than the second and I received an epidural for both and barely felt anything while pushing. Don’t get too worked up over it, once the baby comes you forget all the pain anyway, Goodluck!

First came on his own.. epidural and all. It was horrible and felt like forever. Second and third we’re induced. Hurt like a bitch and both times babies were born within 20 mins of getting epidural but instead of 40 mins of pushing with my first, it was about 1-2 mins of pushing and both boys were out! So much better!

My 2nd labor was awful, I had horrible back labor. I had the HARDEST time pushing her out. My doctor said if I didn't get her out within a few more pushes that we'd have to have a c-section (I had been pushing for a couple hours at this point), I ended up delivering her sunny side up & that was super hard. My 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th were way easier than my first 2 labors.

Just depends on babe and their position. My 1st labour was only easier cause my 2 was facing up and the back labour was wild. With my 3rd as long as she’s facing the usual way I think it’ll be very manageable!

I was induced with my first. My second was natural, water broke at 2:20am when I went to pee, contractions started right after. Could handle the contractions until 7cm when I asked for my epidural and was still in good spirits. I remember the anesthesiologist asked if I had any questions about the epidural and I said “Yes how soon can it get here? 😂” He giggled and said he was going to get it. My son was born at 11:45am about 9 hours after my water broke. My second third and 4th deliveries were very easy. My 5th and 6th however got longer and more painful. I’m due on the 9th with my 7th child and I’m hoping it goes easily.

On my third pregnancy, my last pregnancy was hard but labor was a breeze! I got to 6 cm before getting the epi and it felt like period cramps for me. I feel like I could’ve went longer but a hour later I had my son. 2 pushes and he was out! Postpartum was worse for me especially the cramp after.
