Testing too soon?

I got a very very faint positive on a first response pregnancy test this morning and took another test this afternoon on a normal clearance test and it was negative. My period is due on January 2, am I maybe just testing to soon?

Answer

You could have ovulated later than predicted if you aren’t tracking ovulation. Morning pee also has higher levels of hcg than afternoon pee. Give it a day or two and use fmu see if the line got darker!
