Naps and night time sleep questions for other EBF moms
My little one is almost 7 months now(🥰) and takes 3 occasionally 4, 30-minute naps a day.
I've worked as a nanny for the past 7 years specifically with babies and toddlers and have noticed that my daughter has always been a bit more attached to me than I've seen in other babies.
I love her immensely and have such a beautiful time loving on her everyday and seeing her flourish, but I'm wondering if any other mom's have struggled with their little ones only going down to sleep for them and no one else?
My partner has gotten her down maybe 5 times since she was born and it was mostly in the early newborn days and only for naps. The only other person she has slept for is my Mother-in-law a handful of times over the past few months, but that was also earlier on.
I just feel really exhausted sometimes and need a little break. She's very active already( crawling since 5 months and took her first steps two weeks ago!😱) and I get to care for her all day, but just feel really burned out sometimes when getting her down for bed at the end of the night.
Is there an age where babies grow out of only wanting mama for everything? Or is it a personality thing?
Thank you in advance for any responses!
