Opening the “floor” for pelvic floor dysfunction
Pelvic floor dysfunction is something thousands of women battle on a regular basis. For some they are able to find solutions while others try just about every thing before they accept the fact that there is no fixing it. This is something that people with uteruses should feel comfortable talking about without feeling embarrassment or shame. So let’s talk!
I have had pelvic floor distinction caused by ovarian cysts and surgery for 3 years now, the last time I had gone to physical therapy but that was not helping at all and was still cleared. I’ve been having significant issues while having sex with my boyfriend and have had plenty of sex with him but have not made him climax since September while I climax in less than 10 minutes and afterwards it is extremely painful for me to keep going. He is very understanding and is very patient with me but I also just feel terrible and extremely self critical when it’s been almost 4 months for him, besides masturbation. The wait to get in to PT is months in my very large city with very few physical therapists. This is frustrating and painful and can feel very isolating but you girlypops are not alone ❤️
