I’m 16 and I’ve been sexually active for 2 months.I wanna get on birth control but I don’t really know much about each kind.I am not sure what’s best for me and when I look up information about it,I don’t really find what I wanna know.I wanna ask my mom to put me on birth control but I’m scared she might hate me for it and yell at me.Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 3 months and I am nervous she will think less of us, and our relationship if I ask her.I don’t want her to hate me yk.Is there anyway I can get in it without her knowing? Also if i did get on birth control, with/without her knowing.How do I know what is best for me.I don’t really know the side affects of the IUD,implant,pill,patch.I just know I don’t want to gain weight or have mood swings.My worry is also about my period,will all types make my period irregular? Please help educate me on these types of things.I wasn’t really raised in a household where we get taught about these things,and I never took sex-Ed or anything like that.So for the most part the things I do know is from me asking questions on here.
