Does your supply go down when sick?

I’ve had Covid for the past couple days and my supply has gone down. My baby has been eating more frequently but nothing crazy. I used to be able to have a bit leftover after feedings to store but the past couple days I’ve only been making enough to feed her on demand.

It can, especially if you’re not staying extra hydrated. If you keep consistent with feeding and/or pumping, it does come back for most women, but can sometimes take a week or longer.

Mine did! We had the flu and I stayed hydrated but didn’t eat much because I was really sick and my supply went WAY down. I had to dip into my freezer stash to help baby out for a few days until it came back up. It did come back up though!
