Hello all!! Please please explain your experience having Irish twins if you have any!! My husband and I were thinking and discussing a lot about having Irish twins. If you’re not commonly familiar let me explain, “Either of a pair of siblings born less than 12 months apart, especially if born within the same calendar year or school year or born one year apart”. People say, “why in the world would you do that?” Well, I’ll be very honest, and please no one take offense to my words. I am terrified of not being able to have kids after a certain age. I want to have my three children (maybe four) and I have even expedited the process because my husband and I made a conscious choice to do so, I’ve always wanted to be a mother but not a young mother. While I highly respect young mothers, I feel like everyone in my family was a young mother… actually let me rephrase that, age has nothing to do it with it, they were just unprepared (but who is lol) and unhealed and it has made me realize that I would love to heal myself so I could only reflect love to my children and nothing less, everyone in my family is a people pleaser, with deep rooted trauma and I refuse to have my children and I follow down that path. I want to have a child now, but I am aware that I am not financially nor mentally ready, a baby isn’t a toy! My husband and I are planning our children 5-15 years in advance, we’re both very young currently I’m about to be 20 and he’s about to be 22.
