Pregnancy or Yeast Infection?

So I have noticed a very strong fishy smell coming from my vagina. I have discharge that is very thick in the lips. My older sister just had a baby. She says she had something similar when she was pregnant. Another friend said it could be pregnancy or a yeast infection. Tonight is new years, and I am at my mother in laws house. It is night. Should I try and take a test?

That sounds like an infection or yeast. Neither are pregnancy related

Fishy smell means a bacterial infection which is different than a yeast infection. Yeast infections are common with pregnancy because your hormones are off. It’s possible you could even have both at the same time! But a bacterial infection needs treatment or it will worsen

Fishy smell is probably BV and definitely not normal during pregnancy. I would make an appointment.

I didn’t have a smell or wattage CM when I was pregnant. I was a desert down there🥴
