I’m 8 days late but there’s no chance I’m pregnant (I didn’t have sex this month).

I did try a new birth control, but I didn’t stay on it long considering I felt some VERY strong side effects right away. I was only on it for three days.

I’m now 8 days late for my period- but my breast are sore, I have acne, and I’m very nauseous. So lots of PMS symptoms- but no bleeding. I hate these symptoms and I hate wondering when my period will come back. Is it about to start, or am I going to skip this month altogether? Has anybody experienced anything similar? Again- can’t be pregnant.

My best guess is I’m about to start my period, or maybe I didn’t ovulate this month even though it was only three birth control pills. This is also frustrating because I need to start taking my old birth control again but I have no idea when I should start it.
