Horrible periods

I really feel like something has to be wrong. I’ve always had rough periods with super bad cramping and heavy bleeding and always lasting a full week or a little over, but after I’ve had my second some who is about to be 9 months old they are unbearable at times. Heavy heavy bleeding to the point that I have to wear depends at night with a extra pad in, I bleed right through tampons doesn’t matter the size, my vagina hurts so bad, terrible cramps. I almost feel like I need a ice pack down there or something. I take Tylenol and it helps my cramps but other than that it doesn’t help. I know I need to get in with my obgyn, but I’ve been putting it off. I just feel like they are lasting so long as well. In the meantime while I wait for Monday to role around to call my dr I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced this or know what could be going on.
