My <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> advice: double check the needle you have in your syringe before making the plunge. I have an auto injector (I got it online from Union Medico, it has been worth every penny, highly recommend) and it partially covers part of the needle so maybe that’s why I didn’t notice, but dear Lord. I feel like I have been harpooned like a whale. It’s still stings even through the lidocaine. Has anyone else done this?

Also, for those of you who haven’t started your progesterone shots yet, they aren’t so bad. I had read about how they hurt badly and was super nervous, but at this point we are all getting quite used to shots of all kinds. They mildly sting for a few seconds and then it’s over. I have come to have zero anxiety when getting them, and you can too! You got this! Just get some topical lidocaine, an auto injector, and make sure you change out the harpoon like drawing needle with the smaller injection needle!
