I’m 33 years old , never have been on BC before. Finally got tired of heavy painful periods and took the Dr’s advice about starting birth control pill.

I started with Lo LoEstrin right away as my Dr told me to , on the first pack on the second week I bled heavy for 6 days, then had a light period on the placebo pills.

Second pack of Lo LoEstrin on the second week again started spotting and then the bleeding increased, went back to spotting all the way through the very last pill of the pack.

My Dr recommended to start Sprintec, I just started 2 days ago, I’m still spotting 😢 , now experiencing headaches.

Has anyone been through something similar?
