What’s the theory behind being ghosted, but not blocked?

I’m curious… have you ever ghosted someone, but didn’t block their number? Or have you ever been ghosted & the other person didn’t block your number?
What’s the purpose of ghosting someone, but not blocking their number? Is it a mind game?

Maybe to keep the sex window open in the future. Or some stupid excuse in the future for that same reason.

Either way he doesn’t care about you so how about you block him first instead of giving him the option to come back. Because trust me, ghosters always come back. There’s also sometimes not a valid reason why people do things maybe he forgot to block you or is too preoccupied with the next girl already

I’ve done it. It’s not a mind game. I just don’t care enough to block them. I’ve only blocked ex’s who were actual abusers.

I don't ghost people and I don't reccomend doing it. As adults living in a (supposedly) civilized society, we should be able to communicate with each other. If somethings not working, friendship, relationship, whatever....tell the person. Express your feelings, state your intentions, wish them well and then disconnect.

They’re not mature enough to tell you strait up. But I’ve always been blocked. Fine by me, I block them back and move on with my life. I don’t ghost anyone not will I. Unless there’s a major reason(like they’re abusive). I prefer honesty. Yes it sucks to not be wanted. But then you’re not sitting there wondering what you did wrong in a sense
