Me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 3 years now and for the past few months money has been a bit tight with him being laid off for his seasonal job and me in college working part time. During Christmas he talked to me about how things are a bit tight and he would be able to get me anything. Which I was completely fine with we are saving for an apartment right now so I get it, I paid for applications his and my gas food everything. I feel a bit betrayed right now because I told him if he could lend me 40 for the application cause I needed some money for gas and he told me he didn’t have the money. However later today he texted on our friends group chat about how he got a 100 dollar hoodie for himself. I feel like I’ve been lied to, should I confront him about this or just let it go?
