Went in on December 31st @12pm to be induced @37weeks 1day, due to hypertension and history of preeclampsia as well as protein in my urine. I still feel bad for even going in especially when one doctor told me since I was basically doing fine I could’ve waited. I’d still be pregnant right now. Baby wasn’t cooperating with the induction and it started getting to the point where she was at risk for infection and my temp started elevating. This required a c-section which I never planned, didn’t want, and regret as I’m typing this. I wanted things to just go “naturally” and by that I mean deliver vaginally I’m so sad because this was too fast. Anyway, they took her out of me January 2,2023 @9:25pm weighing 5lbs 1oz.

Supposedly she was struggling to “come on her own” due to knots in her umbilical cord and it wrapped around her foot. Although I’m upset with how this process went, I’m so grateful and happy she’s here, Can’t wait for big sister to meet her. ☺️🥹🌻
