Hey y’all, just wanting some feedback here. I hit twelve weeks right around Valentine’s Day, and was thinking about doing an announcement to both of our families that day. However, my husband’s sister is having her first baby soon- due the first few days in Feb, and of course could go as late as Valentine’s day. I feel like this would be too close to their much more momentous occasion, and I’m feeling more inclined to postpone announcing until later in Feb (my first kid’s bday is the 21st, maybe then?) or even waiting until March. We’re going for a visit to meet the baby at the end of March and I’d be 18 weeks by then, but that’s another possibility. Am I overthinking it? I just want to be considerate of my sister-in-laws feelings. My husband doesn’t think there would be anything wrong with it, but he’s pretty clueless about social niceties anyway lol. What do you think?
