Hi ladies, I had a miscarriage on January 1st 2023. I haemorrhaged quite bad and passed about 30 large clots. I went to the hospital and after some internal exams, the dr concluded my cervix was closed. Since then I have continued red/brown spotting, that is noticeably starting to smell.

I’ve been wondering if it’s normal? Then tonight I went to the bathroom and the smell was noticeable worse, it’s actually foul.

I have a scan tomorrow to check to see if any pregnancy tissue is left in my uterus. But I am wondering if a smell is normal in the healing process, or as I highly suspect... I have an infection from most likely retained tissue!

Has anyone experienced this?
