Measuring early

I went for an early scan today - I should be 6 weeks 2 days going by period and ovulation tests. They said there was no baby there but there was a sac/yolk sac present and they could see what they should see for a 5 week scan. I have to come back but I’m so worried and I can’t see how I can be a week out when I know my dates 😓
