TTC after Chemical Pregnancy

Hi all.

I had a chemical pregnancy last week. (during my 24th bday 😢). I’m already done bleeding.

I was just wondering if anyone else had one and waited to ttc. My midwife says I can try again when I’m ready but she didn’t specify if that means after I get my actual period or before then. (If I ovulate before then). Is the waiting period just so it’s easier for providers to date a pregnancy or is there a legit reason? TIA
