gestational diabetes

I had gestational diabetes with my son, they tested me at 28 weeks. They said the chances were high in having it other pregnancies too which I was gutted about. I was on insulin with my son so I changed my diet to accommodate the diabetes and it worked ok but I could never get it just right (Very hard to learn in 10 weeks).

Anyway I’m pregnant now I’m 10+2 and every time I eat something sugary or carbs I feel super weird. I’m being tested early 16 weeks this time but I’m a little bit upset that we most probably have it again 😞 I had to be induced with my son as they don’t let you go full term with diabetes and I was induced for 7 days and ended with an emergency section anyway, so I always said I’d never be induced again. so if we have diabetes I will have to have a section. Has anyone else not had it in all pregnancies or am I wishful thinking??
