Breastfeeding While Pregnant?

I just found out I’m pregnant with my 4th, and my third (16 months) is still nursing. I had nursed her older sister until almost 3, so I didn’t plan to stop nursing her until she was at least two (which is the month I’m due with this new baby 😆. I’d love to be able to keep nursing her through the pregnancy. Has anyone had experience with this?

I got pregnant while nursing. I continued to nurse the entire pregnancy and now nurse both. My supply decreased a lot but my son was already over a year so it was ok. Some days it hurt so bad tho. Be prepared for a lot of people with super strong opinions why you shouldn’t nurse while pregnant. Don’t let them get to you. It’s totally safe as long as your pregnancy is healthy though it’s not always easy. Now I nurse my almost 6 month old and my 2 1/2 year old.

I got pregnant last year when my son was 7 month old. Had gotten pregnant the month before but ended early. I nursed him the whole way through. He is 22 months now I’m nursing him and his 6 month old sister. All I can say is it can be painful at times. It came in waves for me. One week it hurt the next it didn’t. My supply didn’t really drop either until right before delivery. But I had milk saved. Then milk came in 3 days after delivery. If it’s what you wanna do it’s totally possible to keep nursing.

I got pregnant when my son was about 9 or 10 months old and my supply dropped to about 2 ounces per day so we used more formula. He's on while milk now that he's a year old.

I got pregnant while I was EBF my 5 month old & unfortunately for me my supply decreased almost immediately. I was only able to breastfeed him until he was about 6 months & then I had to switch to formula.

I’m about 6 weeks with my third pregnancy, but still breastfeeding and pumping for my 9 month old. This is my first experience with this and I’m still early. In the very beginning, I didn’t notice anything different. Starting a few days ago though, I’ve developed intermittent nipple sensitivity, where it HURTS. It comes and goes though. Also, I’ve already noticed a big drop in my supply. I’ve always had a lower supply, but it’s much lower now. Hoping to make it to a year!
