When do they walk?

My 9 month old baby is starting to stand unassisted. He's just scared to fall. Roughly how long after do baby start to walk??

Totally depends on baby
My first was taking steps at her first birthday
My second didn't even try to start standing until 15 months
My third was running by his first birthday
My 10 month old is just now trying to stand for a few seconds. 
And now my second is probably the most coordinated of them all! 😁

It’s just dependent on the baby! My first could stand on his own but was apprehensive to walk and was scared of falling. It took him until around his first birthday to get going. My March baby is letting go of things and taking around 8-10 steps before falling. He figured out how to push himself up to stand today. He’s definitely less fearful than my first- but just let baby go at their own pace! Confidence is key ❤️.
