PPD for me
This is what postpartum depression looks like for me. I put on a smile and I force myself to do things. Why do I do it? I do it for her. Because I love her. Despite feeling depressed and miserable all day I stay strong for my little girl. That is why I am taking care of me by speaking to a counselor on the phone, seeing a psychologist in office, increasing my medication, joining an online support group, and doing a cognitive behavioral therapy workbook. I want to get better. I need to get better. For me and for her.
