Back pain??

Question

Anyone else experiencing really bad back pain after sitting awhile? I was feeding and my baby was eating slower than usual and my back felt strained. I felt like a warm/water-ish sensation and it became stiff quick. This is my third baby and my third epidural. I don’t remember it being this bad. Any suggestions???

Yes. Join the club. I had my daughter nine years ago when this all started. I didn't even have an epidural at that time. I had an emergency C-section under general anesthesia. I had an MRI on my back and I have several bulging discs in my lumbar spine and nerve impingements in my sacrum area. I've had physical therapy, chiropractic care, and eventually I got epidural corticosteroid shots. Unfortunately none of that has helped. The shots made things so much worse for me for about six months. I have figured out that ￼the only thing that helps is not sitting in one place for too long. Staying active as much as possible. Strengthening and stretching the muscles so they don't irritate my nerves. When I feel that ache and stiffness coming on, it's time to move. ￼On bad days I use a lot of ice and ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer at night. And pretty much have resigned myself to living with chronic pain. The doctors say they don't see anything that they would feel comfortable operating on. ￼On top of it all, I have developed arthritis in my neck. ￼￼I'm trying to keep a positive attitude because I do have a nine-year-old to care for… But some days are really not easy for me. I hope things go better for you than they have for me. Good luck. ￼

Yes, I've had SI joint pain (back of pelvis)  and have been seeing a chiropractor

Definitely recommend seeing a chiropractor for an adjustment. Posture feeding and posture after baby throws our back out of wack sometimes.
