Dental question

Amanda

I was flossing a night or 2 ago and a hair got wrapped around the floss and ended up between my teeth. I tried to pull it out and it cracked off.. there was still a bit hanging out that I could see so I grabbed a pair of tweezers and pulled it out.. I heard a snap again so I’m pretty sure it broke off again. Anyways.. I’ve been flossing and I haven’t seen anything come out on my floss or toothbrush( that I’ve noticed). I’m unsure if there’s anything trapped between my teeth or my gums still. I can’t see anything sticking out anywhere and I have no discomfort at all.. I generally don’t feel like I have anything stuck there. My question is… should I assume it’s gone? Just keep flossing , brushing , using mouth wash as normal? Or should I call my dentist on monday? Could this cause any issues?! Would I know if it’s still there ?

I’m a bit stressed about it as I’ve had some gum recession since I’ve given birth so I’ve been extra extra careful with my teeth and taking extra good care of them.
