Why is my sister in law like this? Is it rude?

We are remodeling our house and she came to our house to drop my son off. He went to her house to play with his cousin.

My sister in law went in the kitchen, looked out our marble counter and goes, “I don’t like this. That’s ugly”

It’s honestly a slap in the face. Who does that?

I remember a time she came over and said our house stinks…. Like really?

I never once said anything about her messy house and moldy cups collecting in the corner of the living room table. Or how she wants to decorate her kitchen in Winnie the Pooh.

Why are people so miserable? Her marriage is going bad so she wants to make me miserable with her,?
