When to start trying for Pregnancy after a miscarriage

Okay so in December I had a miscarriage in December at 4weeks we we’re really sad about it. I want to have a baby and try again but I don’t what for it to happen again and I’m scared for it to happen we are a young couple but we are ready. 
How soon is too soon to try again?

When you are mentally and emotionally ready you can try. I started trying again after my first period after a 6 week’s miscarriage and got pregnant that cycle currently 10 weeks along.

My Dr recommended to wait a cycle before starting to try again. I think because it's easier to date it.
