divorce /seperation
How do/did you start the conversation that you want to leave?
How do you keep the situation calm?
How/when do you agree on things?
edit:
before anyone asks I want to add that my partner doesn't believe I will leave him.
I almost left last year and he wants to prove that we can be better but I don't feel it and he doesn't want to do therapy.
I just don't trust him and he obviously doesn't trust me.
I don't trust him to treat me properly and as an equal human being and he keeps falsely accusing me of cheating.. partly because he believes that I would never leave him without someone else pushing me to do this.
@Ashley
I don't think it's a safety concern, but I do think that having a civilized conversation will be required if we want to seperate peacefully.
We have a child and I have 3 stepkids and I don't want to make things harder for them than they need to be.
I just don't know how to bring it up, especially when things are "normal".. Like it feels asif I'm ruining the atmosphere.. But obviously it's a conversation to have had..
