Why are people so addicted to coffee?😳🤔

I dont why they drink it everyday like how? Lol one of my coworkers buys starbucks everyday and basically drinks it like 3x a day like how? Why waste money so much money on Starbucks? Iced coffee and other hot ones.. i never drank coffee in my life because i cant i have anxiety and panic disorders so my heart races with any little caffeine.  Yeah people said i can drink decaf but i choose not to because i feel panic stil that im still going to feel something idk its all in my head i guess…. For me looking at all thesee peoples drinking so much coffee in a day im like how? Is there heart made out of steal? Does it not beat so fast and feels like a heart attack? Crazy i guess coffee is an addiction just like drugs and alcohol too.

It's tasty. And after a while you can have withdrawal from not having caffeine and have headaches and stuff. Caffeine doesn't really effect me, I just think coffee tastes good and making it at home is cheap but I do treat myself to fancy coffee probably once a week.

I love Starbucks. I have it twice a day. I have an anxiety disorder that I take medication for and caffeine doesn’t affect me the way it does you. Not everyone is going to react the way you do. My heart doesn’t race. Starbucks is very calming for me. I receive over $1000 in Starbucks gift cards a year so I’m never paying out of my own pocket for it.

I think it’s bold for you to connect it with drugs and alcohol lol. I’m a proud addict to caffeine and I know it’s a thing. I also have terrible anxiety but caffeine literally does nothing to me.🤷🏻‍♀️ I could drink a coffee and go to bed. I’ve literally got extreme anxiety and it doesn’t counteract at all. Every body is different. Don’t judge how one spends their money and lives their life. It’s not a waste of money on a simple drink that person enjoys. Kinda rude tbh.

I love coffee…  I wouldn’t say I’m addicted to it but I definitely enjoy drinking it everyday. I make mine at home on my breville. It doesn’t make my heart race or anything like that, I think it affects people differently. When I used to work in the office I would stop by and grab Starbucks on my way to work every morning and sometimes a second one on my lunch to give me some energy. If I needed to I could totally be fine without it though
