I’ve had some light spotting for the past 5 days. The first was bright red on the toilet paper when I wiped and after that it’s been lighter pink and only when I wipe. It started a week and a half before my period is due. I’ve also had very mild cramping.

All other signs point to implantation bleeding except the fact that it was bright red. Most internet articles say it would be light pink or brown. I’m concerned that if it’s not implantation bleeding then there’s something wrong with me. I’ve never spotted so far in advance of my period before. Pregnancy tests have been negative so far but my period still isn’t due for another 5 days. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Thoughts?
