First pp period??

I’m 6 weeks pp and last week my bleeding almost stopped for a few days it was super light and got dark and mucusy then on sunday it was bright red bleeding and like a heavyyy period. im not breastfeeding either . i think its my period but im on day 6 of bright red bleeding still. I had my 6 wk ck up yesterday and dr didnt say anything just that im really fertile 😕. should i be worried ? this was my 3rd pregnancy and my other 1st pp periods were not this heavy or long but i was also breastfeeding for a long time.
