D & C pain

I’m 3 days from my D and C for retained placenta. The doctor said he did an ultrasound afterwards to make sure he got it all. After the procedure he had to do some hard uterus pushes because I had a lot of blood clots. The first day I was cramping really bad and bleeding pretty heavy. The second day the bleeding decreased significantly and I was in very little to no pain. Today, the pain is back and bleeding increased again. Overall abdominal pain and tenderness. My uterus hurts to be touched and walking is painful. I was given antibiotics during the procedure and I’m on them now just in case. I’m not sure if I’m sore for labor/surgery/the doctor doing the uterine massages. I’m 19 days pp. Does this sound normal?
