When will my period return??

I have an 8 month old baby girl and she was ebf until about 6 months now she does have some formula along with night nursing and some solids, when should I expect my period to return? I’m on a non hormonal birth control and I have had irregular periods before I got pregnant. I’m just paranoid about becoming pregnant again so quickly lol..is it bad I want my period back?? Lol

Both of my daughters were EBF as well and my cycle returned at different times. I had irregular periods before I was pregnant with my first daughter. My cycle returned at 13 months postpartum with my first baby and it was regular. My cycle returned at 11 months postpartum with my second baby.

Every woman is different. Mine returned with my 3 EBF kids between 12mo and 18mo 🤷‍♀️ sounds like you're taking precautions so try not to stress!
