Possible Partial Molar or Vanishing Twin??

Hi mamas.
I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant and went for a scan yesterday. They saw one baby with a healthy heartbeat, but in the same generational sac, saw another “blob” with no heartbeat.
The doc initially said it was a vanishing twin, but then said because my HCG is 98,000 he’s worried about a partial molar. I won’t know for 2 weeks until I go in again.
Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences to share on this?? Seems like everything I see for vanishing twins there are two gestational sacs. Super worried that this is a partial molar pregnancy.

I had a vanishing twin but I'm not sure you want to hear my outcome, it was not good. I did have 2 sacs in my case they were di di from one egg.

I had a twin coexistant molar pregnancy. We had a healthy baby boy in one sac and a large molar in a second sac. It was missed until an ultrasound at 18 weeks. We decided to continue the pregnancy as baby boy was healthy. We tried our best to get to viability. We made it to 23.5 weeks and unfortunately I started hemorrhaging from the molar placenta and lost the baby. I’m really sorry you’re going through this and hope it is “just vanishing twin”. It’s terrible either way, but my experience with coexistant molar was very scary. Making it as long as I did is very rare. Making it to viability is even more rare. Feel free to reach out with any more questions as there are not many people who experience this.

I had a partial molar last March . There was lots
Of tissue and some parts of baby I found out at 8w . My hcg numbers were also very very high .
