Contractions not painful?

Question

Has anyone had contractions come regularly but not be painful? 
I'm already 4cm and I'm terrified of delivering at home like my SIL did with her second.
I never experienced natural contractions with my first even after my water broke so I have nothing to go by.

With my second I didn’t find my contractions to be painful until 10 minutes before I delivered (when my water broke). They were consistent, and slightly uncomfortable but not painful. And I went from 4cm to holding her in less than an hour. 
I would call your midwife/doctor and see what they say. But it may be wise to head that way.

Mine were never painful for either baby. Uncomfortable, sure, but not painful.
With my son, I was already in the hospital trying to keep him in. They didn’t believe me when I said my contractions were pretty close and I thought he was coming soon. The monitor was too high on my stomach so it wasn’t registering all my contractions and I wasn’t acting in pain so they brushed it off. My body was pushing him out as I had the needle in my back for an epidural for a different procedure (cerclage removal). 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wasn’t in pain with my daughter, so I labored at home for four hours before heading in since I started to bleed. I got there at a 6, so it’s definitely something I worry about myself 🥲 before I was a 1.

My first baby I was given pitocin and forget it, the contractions were unbearable!! With My second and third babies contractions were tolerable for me. Like heavy period cramps I guess u could say. Relaxing your body, Concentrating and breathing through them as they came helped.

With my first I wasn’t bothered by my contractions. I arrived at the hospital at 6cm just fine and dandy. A few hours later and it was the back labor that had me feeling like death😂
With my second my contractions didn’t hurt until a few hours after they broke my water, I got the epidural at 6cm. I could have gone a bit longer but didn’t want to deal with the pain. Ironically the epidural stopped working properly so I felt everything while pushing.

With my 1st, I didn't feel any til my water broke. With my second, I didn't feel any til 10 mins before birth. Every labor is different
