Recipes/Foods for people with high blood pressure

Anybody have food recipes for people who has high BP?

My husband (who I need to make a Dr appointment for since he's stubborn)

Possibly has high BP as his most recent reading at a dentist appointment was 155/108

I'm wondering what he should and shouldn't be eating

I have SOME experience as my pregnancies were high risk due to high BP

But I don't know much most likely will ask doctor tons of questions but haven't set appointment up since he works a lot and got to schedule around that

Registered dietitian here- for high blood pressure you need to restrict sodium so that can be as easy as getting rid of the salt at the table, cooking with less salt, avoiding foods high in sodium like frozen dinners, deli meats, canned soups, chips/pretzels/crackers, but things like bread and bread products have a decent amount of sodium too. Fresh cooking with different herbs and spices will be very helpful. (You don’t need to restrict sodium for high blood pressure in pregnancy though just fyi)

No salt at all in food prepared or cooked. Lots of greens. Lots of garlic (actual garlic) is great for lowering blood pressure. My father used to drink tea twice a day with mashed garlic in the cup. and even drink/eat the garlic in the end. Helped him. Doesn't mean it world work for everyone though.
