HELP! False positive?

Question

Faint line on a wondfo that expired three months ago. Has some color in person, pic taken within appropriate timeframe. No idea about DPO because I’m breastfeeding my 7 month old (🫠).
Of course, I am going to get a new test as soon as possible today. I’m the meantime, I’m freaking out and wondering if anyone has had a false positive on a recently expired test??

I’ve had false positives on expired test strips before after my period came I realized they were expired. Always test on non expired reliable tests lol

If the test is expired than the result, regardless if positive or negative, is invalid.

My friend tested positive on an expired test. She has a 1 year old now.

I used an expired Pregmate strip when I initially found out I was pregnant last month…the strip was definitely still good because when I took a frer and a digital clear blue both were positive as well.

Last year when I found out I was pregnant I wanted to use up my expired (1 year) wondfos and they all showed positive. I had like 5 of them left. I had already tested positive with a frer though. I'm not sure if expired tests will continue to work afterwards so it's probably best to retest with a non expired one to confirm.
