So, I’m nine weeks postpartum from my first baby boy, thank You, Jesus!!! 💕🙌🏻 Yesterday, I had a vaginal swab done with the speculum. They did two swab tests (not your Pap smear swab, but, a regular one). I had this done around 2-3 and when I got home last night, I noticed that I had bled through my underwear and I started putting on a pad. I bled through the pad a little bit and changed to another one. When I went to the bathroom, I had bloody discharge. I believe my period is supposed to start on the 8th or the 9th so I don’t think it’s my period. Plus, I’m having this pelvic pain, but, it doesn’t go away. It’s just staying there and I can feel it like in my hip. So, today, I’m not bleeding on the pad, but, when I go to the bathroom, bloody discharge is still pooling out and I’m getting a little concerned. I usually spot after a pelvic exam (sometimes, I don’t). Also, I have a yeast infection and I don’t know if that’s what’s causing the bleeding to be this much? Has anyone experienced this before? I really don’t want to go to the Emergency Room, but, I will if I have to.
