When to have the next baby?

For those of you who have conceived or are trying, how did you know you guys were ready for the next? I feel myself going back and forward these days.

We had sex once on Christmas during my fertile window and here we are 8 weeks pregnant 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 We've hardly done it at all since the first one was born..

We stopped contraceptives back in October not planning to really try yet “because it’s gonna take some time for my body to stabilise again” (it took us 1,5 years last time). This time we didn’t even get to try as I’m now 8 weeks pregnant 😅
It’s a little bit earlier than what I was looking for (I wanted to start trying when first one turns 2, hoping to conceive during the first year of trying ) but hey, I agreed on stop using contraceptives, so he or she is still very much wanted 😊

I had my son March 9 2021 and then just had another baby boy October 5 2022. My girls (6 and 4.5) are the same age apart. From my experience, it is difficult having 2 and under 2 but much easier once they are older since my girls can now be in the same sports and activities together. If I had my pick, I’d have them all 18 months or less apart, but that’s just from my own experience ☺️ we are all done now
