Anyone done a preterm preparation appointment?

Hi all so I have an appointment march 14th to prepare for pre term delivery 🤦‍♀️ i will be 30 weeks at that point… I have no idea what this is or what it means I don’t see my midwife till Tuesday so thought I pop on here and see if anyone knows what it is… 
I don’t understand what they need me to do or why it’s needed 🤷‍♀️ thanks in advance for any help or advice xx

Did they tell you at any point of your pregnancy that you might be delivering the baby early? 
Preterm delivery is considered delivery before 37 weeks. I got rear ended on Thursday night and I spent 24 hours in the hospital because I was having contractions im only 32 weeks and I’m now 1cm dilated. Got two shots of steroids for baby’s lung development in case the baby comes early. That’s just my situation. There are many causes out there why the baby might come early…

Unless they've told you specifically they think you're going to delivery early, it sounds like they may just need you to fill out paperwork and such.
I know the hospital I deliver at ask that you come in between 31-34 weeks to fill out your birth plan, sign birth certificates, sign some medical stuff like for epidural/pain management meds, and get all your insurance stuff in order so you're not struggling to do it while you're recovering after birth.
