Has anyone had issues with their cycle after an IUD was removed? I had my Mirena IUD removed in December. I have been using Mirena off and on between all 3 of my children since 2015. Ever since deciding to take it out since it shifted and now track my own cycle and be completely BC free, AF has been brutal. Worse than it was before BC. I bleed monthly like I’m hemorrhaging all that’s left of me. My emotions are completely out of control I cry constantly. I’m in crazy amounts of physical discomfort from cramping so bad. I didn’t leave bed all day yesterday. My menstrual cycles never used to be like this. Do you think it could be from the IUD being in so long? I’m not sure what to do, but this doesn’t seem right.
