6 week postpartum check ??

So what happens at the 6 week postpartum appointment ???someone please tell me because I this is my second time going and they don’t check shit but have a useless conversation about nothing ! Like I could’ve stayed home

I got a pelvic exam & pap done at mine, along with the "how are you feeling & what are your bc plans" convo

My Dr is amazing. He checked my lady parts for proper healing. Checked for prolapse. Checked my stomach for uterus size.  He checked my blood pressure and weight. After all the physical portion was done… we discussed how home life was and if I was feeling okay, etc. we talked about exercising and how my son was doing. I didn’t think it was a waste of time at all.

I didn’t have stitches but the same here. I wasn’t checked for anything.

Just checking mental health. Asking how you feel mentally and physically. And birth control. They also feel your belly to make sure the uterus went back down in size.

Yeah mine were always just asking how I felt and sorting birth control, pretty much nothing and pointless.
