I want to start working out in the morning before I head to work.

Should you eat before you workout or afterwards?

That depends on you. Are you hungry in the morning? If yes, eat. If no, don’t. Hydrate. Eat when your hungry.

If I eat before a work out it has to be an hour before or I’ll get cramps. But when I did only running I’d eat after !
