I had to get induced on a Wednesday night 8:30pm with a balloon, 8:30am Thursday it was taken out and I didn’t need any further hormones to help - Friday morning I had terrible cramps come, a nurse came in and checked - I was finally in active labour! I called my partner and by 8:25am we were in birth suit and had my waters broken. 10:25 am I had birthed a beautiful baby girl in the shower, with no epidural and was home for 5pm the same day. After a horrible pregnancy with hyperemesis gravidarum lasting the whole nine months it was a beautiful birth and was so special to have our very first little bundle of joy with us.
