Adult diapers or pads?

Hi all, 
I was just curious to see who uses adult diapers after birth and who uses pads? I have always gone with adult diapers because the pads are just as thick as them anyway and it’s saves your panties. I usually stop bleeding by the 4th postpartum, but get my first period in the 5th week so I go back to the diapers again. I may use pads if I have errands to run and don’t want to have the appearance of a diaper butt 😆

I just had my 4th baby, my new mom hack haha if your water breaks at home and you have other kids use one of their diapers as a pad, it is soooo much more absorbent I didn’t leak at all the whole way to the hospital! I know this wasn’t your question but I had to spread the wealth haha 😂

First time mum here, I’ve bought both. I have no idea how the bleeding will be but my thoughts are I’ll use pads for during the day and adult nappies for nights.

I liked the mesh panties from the hospital with their pads. I grabbed a ton before being discharged so I had enough for recovery!
