Do cordial relationships matter with spouses friends?

One of my husbands best friends is having a gender reveal. I didn’t even know he was expecting let alone having a whole reveal. My husband says I have a gender reveal to go to later. Ofc I ask him who’s and he says his friend. I’m like… “he’s having a child???” He says yeah.… I wasn’t even invited you see he said “I’m going to” isn’t that something we should at least go together. Not saying I need to have a whole relationship with his friends but like that’s a pretty neutral thing that people bring their spouse to… maybe I’m just being sensitive.. I’m going through postpartum depression.. im crying as I’m typing this sorry if there are any errors.
